SolTek - Lightscapes I

After the much anticipated Satellites Techno E.P. SolTek takes the listener on the other shore of contemporary electronica. Electronic Soundscapes presents the first SolTek full length album:

SolTek – Lightscapes I

Sonic landscapes and rich interplanetary drones introduce the listener to the deepest and most atmospheric SolTek album up to date.

Deeply atmospheric and interestingly uptempo, Lightscapes I sets a cosmic route that leaves a distinct sonic imprint from Elysium to Jellyfish and vice versa.

The voyage starts with a 10 minute aural cleansing ride. Harmonic vibrations and swiping ethereal melodies, set the ideal sound track for an underwater smooth glide. Elysium slowly rises from oceanic space and initiates the journey.

Belemira continues and takes the journey towards a more uptempomorning direction while Chinese Dream spreads its roots down to earth and as the title suggests, reaches dream land while steadily being grounded.

Small Pond sets an upward spiral direction. 3d panning stereoscopic effects and a soft beat structure stabilise the SolTek dream flow.

Heavenly Observatory encapsulates the Lightscapes I flow up to now and the more uptempo side of the album that is next. Deep base grounds the ambient space premier part of the track while gradually; ambient beats contribute to the uniqueness of the track.

Miracle combines an array of SolTek elements and further defines the ungenred music style that describes the SolTek sound. Ethereal atmospheres and enveloping industrial landscapes convolute alongside tasty samples.

The beats are on! Acid techno atmospheric beats punch in and Catfight is next. Being at the heart of the Lightscapes I beat side SolTekdelivers a classic techno industrial ambient uptempo tune.

Clearly being the most straight forwarduptempo beat track, That Wobble is still not easy to classify. Clever beats and celestial melodies along masterful electronic filtery, contribute towards a real gem!

Ready, set, go .....

Eye of the world acts as an anchor reconnecting the listener to earth vibrations while still keeping the downtempo beats structure of That Wobble.

Emotional beats and fat baselines envelope the listener unexpectedly!

Gearing down while preserving the beat rhythm, Sea Of Green smoothly flows towards the end of Lightscapes I. Deep ambient beat patterns and cinematic landscapes take the listener towards the end of the album.

Jellyfish is the definition of a pure ambient track. Cleansing water atmospheres and tasty 3d wizardry shape the ideal outro.

Ranging from deep cinematic ambience to ambient beats and much in between, Lightscapes I is an album featuring many levels of smart electronica.

Hard to fit into genres and keeping the highest production, mastering and artwork standards, over 70 minutes of underground tunes shape soundscapes, reminiscent of the classic Fax Records, with an added tech twist and the unique SolTek approach.
